How to Download Videos from the Web onto your iPhone

When browsing the Internet you often come across videos which you would like to download to your iPhone. As standard the iPhone is somewhat limited in features for downloading multimedia through its web browser but here’s a nice App which does the job well.
Video Downloader Super Lite is the free version of Video Downloader Super+ which allows you to download web based videos onto your iPhone.
Providing an alternative web browser the App lets you navigate to a web based video eg a video on YouTube and download it into your iPhones RAM for offline viewing, and if the video isn’t protected you can even save it to your iPhone’s Camera Roll.
Video Downloader Super allows you to prepare a video for off-line viewing if you know that you are going to be in a poor signal area, or to store videos in a library for long term storage.

How to Scan Business Cards on the iPhone

Despite the progress in Technology the most common way to share business contact details is still through the use of printed business cards, a practice which causes storage issues for mobile workers who need to collect and store the cards. Sharing contact details would be much easier if you could quickly and easily import the contact details into your electronic contacts list, fortunately there’s an App for that with this iphone business card scanner.
WorldCard is an App for the iPhone which can scan business cards, perform Optical Character Recognition and automatically input the data into your Contact list.

20120814-212144.jpg
There are four ways of capturing contact details in WorldCard, the first and primary method is through the iPhones camera. Simply point the camera at a business card, capture the image press the recognise button and the App starts its magic.
WorldCard automatically recognises key fields e.g. name, business name, tel number, email address etc and puts them into the appropriate fields, the percentage of success on recognition is very high but you are given the chance to amend any of the fields if you wish.
It is also possible to capture contact details from previously taken photographs of business cards, email signatures or QR codes. You can also add social media contact details to help build a professional social network.

Text Recognition on Business Cards

You have choices on how you can store the contact details, you can choose to store the captured contact details in either your normal contact list, just in the App or in both. If you choose to only save contacts within the App then you can still interact with the contact in the usual ways.
There are very few Apps that can be considered to be essential purchases but if you use your iPhone as your primary work phone and meet many contacts then WorldCard Mobile is an essential app. You can download World Card Mobile from the App Store or by clicking here.

You can see World Card in action in the following video
